The strikers

Permanent link Af Kategori: Michelle MalkinSimon Espersen, 23:23:48, Kategorier: Ayn Rand, Michelle Malkin, John Galt,

[U]ntold numbers of America's wealth producers are going on strike financially. Dr. Helen Smith, a Tennessee forensic psychologist and political blogger, dubbed the phenomenon "Going Galt" last fall. It's a reference to the famed Ayn Rand novel "Atlas Shrugged," in which protagonist John Galt leads the entrepreneurial class to cease productive activities in order to starve the government of revenue.

Sense or submission

Motherhood and peace-making are not synonymous. Motherhood requires ferocity, the will and resolve to protect one's own children at all costs, and a life-long commitment to sacrifice for a family's betterment and survival. Conflict avoidance is incompatible with good mothering. - On the playground of life, Sally Field is the mom who looks the other way when the brat on the elementary school slide pushes your son to the ground or throws dirt in your daughter's face. - Read Michelle Malkin on "maternal submission" and immediate surrender in Sally Field Doesn't Speak for Me.

Den store fornærmelse i Vest

Permanent link Af Kategori: Michelle MalkinSimon Espersen, 22:43:00, Kategorier: Sikkerhed og Integritet, Ideologi & Politik, Religion, Storbritannien, Iran, Israel, Libanon, Michelle Malkin, Saudi Arabien,

Apropos dagens historie fra Heathrow anbefales They Are All Jews Now af Mark Steyn:

In Causeries du lundi, Charles-Augustin Sainte-Beuve recalls a Parisian dramatist watching the revolutionary mob rampaging through the street below and beaming: "See my pageant passing!" That's how opportunist Arabs and indulgent Europeans looked on the intifada and the terrorists and the schoolgirl suicide bombers: as a kind of uber-authentic piece of performance art with which to torment the Jews and the Americans. They never paused to ask themselves: Hey, what if it doesn't stop there?, skriver Steyn blandt andet.

If it's not Qana, it's Gitmo.
Or cartoons or pop singers. Or filmmakers.
Or books. Or more books.
Or beauty pageants and bikinis.
Or American fast-food joints.
Or Valentine's Day.
Or playing cards.
Or Piglet.
Or soccer.
Or South Park.

There's always something burning with the jihadi members of the Religion of Perpetual Outrage. It's time to see through the smokescreen, skriver Malkin.
